CDF’s Community Food Distribution
A Major local mission carried out by our members is food distribution.
This is to help with immediate food needs of those requiring extra help with food within their community. All CDF members are taken through basic training of reaching out to their neighbors and community members who are in emergency need of food assistance.
Emergency Food Assistance: This is a short-term food assistance program designed to help families, and individuals who are in short supply of food due to loss of job, moving between jobs, family emergency situations etc. For more on Emergency Food Assistance, go to Eternal Food Bank and Click on “Get Help”
CDF Community Food Pantry holds at a designated point in each community. Days are Tuesday & Friday 10.00am to 2.30pm. Contact CDF for information about distribution points available in your area,
